Announces Industry Veteran Anthony Sanfilippo as CEO

FinEngine today announced industry veteran Anthony Sanfilippo has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.

“Tony understands what it takes to build and operate great businesses.  With more than thirty five years in the industry, he has just the type of experience that we need to take us to the next level,” said Md Azam, FinEngine’s Founder and President.  “I’m thrilled to be working with him again.” 

Azam and Tony previously worked together at Knight Trading Group, where Tony was the Global Head of Equities and Interim CEO.  He was also the Head of US Trading at Jefferies & Co., CEO at Hudson Securities and President of Rodman & Renshaw.  Tony has served as a past Governor of the Security Traders Association (STA) and past President of the Security Traders Association of Chicago (STAC).  He also served as a Board Member of Nasdaq Europe and Knight Trading Group, and is currently the Treasurer of the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to bone marrow failure diseases.
